Originally developed in the 1920’s by Joseph Pilates, the
Pilates exercise method is a total-body conditioning workout
that focuses on balance, concentration, alignment and control,
while improving deep core strength, muscle control, flexibility,
coordination and body tone.
Through a series of core, back, leg and arm exercises, participants will feel stronger with each class and gain a new awareness of their posture, strength, the importance of breathing and more.
Flex Pilates focuses on improving range of motion, flexibility,
alignment and strength for the total body with length, not bulk. The many controlled movements in Pilates engage both body and mind, providing a whole body workout.
